Trick or Treat!!!

Kairi had a fun filled Halloween this year with a lot of treats and a few tricks. Grandma Aileen came up to see her favorite granddaughter, well I guess her only granddaughter, but still the same. These two had a great time together and we'll have more pictures to follow. But here's some cute pics of Kairi in her Halloween costume.

Tuesday night, we had the Sister Missionaries over for dinner. Mommy made cupcakes for dessert and you can see what happened.

At Last!!!!

Well, it's been nearly forever since this page was last updated. Needless to say, there has been a lot that has happened since our last post. So here's a few pictures to show how our little adorable Kairi has been growing up.

Mom wanted to see the fall colors, so Grandpa Scott and Grandma Cherie joined us for a drive up the mountains to see all the pretty leaves changing colors. Not sure what Kairi thought about it all though.

Kairi also got to attend her first professional sports game. We all got to go and see the Colorado Rapids take on the New England Revolution. She had a blast, especially since the Rapids won 3-0.

Kairi has also begun brushing her own teeth. She doesn't do that great of a job, mostly biting on the brush. But she loves to brush along with Daddy.

Cousin Lincoln came to visit during the Day Family Reunion up in Winter Park. Here's the two little cousins hanging out with the Coca~Cola Bear.

Happy Birthday Kairi!!!!!

Can anyone believe that our little Kairi is already a year old? Mom and Dad are wondering where that whole first year went. But our little darling enjoyed a fun filled Independence Day/Birthday Weekend at Grandpa Scott & Grandma Cherie's house. So here's a little picture history of her first birthday weekend.

Then on her birthday Kairi got to go to the pool. She's a natural swimmer and just loves the water. And in case you missed it, she's also showing the camera how old she is.

Of all her gifts, she probably enjoyed this little musical card. It played Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." I think it's her new favorite song.

And here's the Day Family tradition of baby's first birthday cake. This is going to get messy.

Hawaii Trip 2010

Kairi enjoyed her very first trip to Hawaii. She was excited to see Grandma Aileen, while Mom was excited to see the ocean, and Dad, well he was just excited to eat. Overall it was a wonderful trip and everyone was happy in the end. Here are some pictures for you all to enjoy.

For some odd reason this little girl finds it hilarious when she's in her high chair and someone drops a stuffed animal in front of her. So figure.

Now this is why it's good to be happy with the toys you already have and not want to get even more out of your toy box before putting away the other ones. And of course Mommy's first instinct was to grab the camera and record it before rescuing her poor little baby.

Mommy and Kairi went with Grandma Cherie to the Denver Botanical Gardens. Looks like she was having a fun time looking at all the flowers.

Go Rapids!!!

So while Mom went out to do some grocery shopping, Kairi and Dad stayed home and watched the Colorado Rapids play the San Jose Earthquakes. Unfortunately the Rapids lost, but still Kairi and Dad had a good time. Plus Mom was able to get a few good pictures too.

Here she is in her own little Rapids jersey. It still has a lot of room to grow into, but it's cute.

She also loves her little soccer ball. Kairi and Dad like passing the ball back and forth, but usually it's just Kairi catching the ball and keeping it. Maybe she'll be a goalie!

She's Growing Too Fast

Little Kairi's been growing up so fast. She just turned eight months this past week and is already turning out to be a handful. She's gotten a lot better at crawling and now she's pulling herself up to get all those wonderful things that Mom and Dad don't want her to get. I guess it's baby-proofing time!
